It's summer, and we're ready
to learn some new skills! During the summer, we consolidate our
classes into
three intensive workshops to learn material for the coming year.
During these workshops, we will learn "All Around Solos". These
solos are choreographed specifically to
execute skills and steps in each level, therefore making each dancer
a better "All-Around" dancer!
All competing dancers for the 2022-23 year are required to attend
at least TWO workshops.
How it Works:
You will come to Solo Camp during the sessions you choose. (Dates &
Times listed below) Upper levels will be learning all 5 All Around
Solos, and Lower Levels will be learning 2-3 All Around Solos, in
preparation for the coming year. This will definitely be a crash
course, and that is why we require attendance to at
least 2 Sessions. (Attending all 3 would be most beneficial to the
dancer.)
Please note
that Summer recommendations and/or placement for a specific level DO
NOT guarantee the dancer will be on a team of that same level in the
Fall. The summer workshops are a great time to "try out" a new
level, and sometimes realize it might be a bigger step for that
dancer than was anticipated
Access to Teaching Videos:
If you attend all three sessions for your level, you will receive
access to the online All-Around Solo teaching videos.
If you cannot attend all THREE sessions, you will need to purchase
this separately for $20. (Attending one or two sessions does not
qualify for free access.)
ALL competition students are required to have access to the AA Solo
videos to learn from and practice with at home.
