"the Year of the Crocs"
 

 


RME at Branson in Silver Dollar City

     The dancers perform 5 shows every day on the hour from 9:00 am to 1:00 p.m. and then get time to play in the park. After a fun dinner together, they get to go into town and see all the fun shows in Branson. They perform as part of Silver Dollar City's Children's Festival.

   The team consists of 12-18 dancers between ages 13-30. Dancers must be proficient in clogging and performing as well as being able to interact well with crowds. The team is selected from tryouts and special selections.  The dancers showcase different styles of footwork, including traditional and modern styles of clogging, French-Canadian clogging, and Irish step dancing.

This year's cast consisted of : 
Tanner Madsen, Justine Sanders, Rachel, Telfer, Aubree Edgel, Alyssa Troff, Jon Horan, Greg Tucker, Mariann Asay, Jessy Ostmeier, McCall Fisk, Rebecca Nichols, Kellie Richardson, Amanda Austin, Haley Sheffield, Caitlyn Ainge and Shontel Madsen.		 This year's show includes:

Rocky Top: Opener
Hoedown/Precision: Hoedown & Precision traditional clogging
Buck: Buck style clogging
Show: Show style with theme and storyline
Canadian: French-Canadian clogging style
Country-Western Line: Line dance with some clogging
Irish: Irish soft shoe and Irish hard shoe - just like Riverdance!
Finale: Bringing it all together
Wrap up: Fun dance to finish it all up!
